Ceramist, cartoonist, illustrator

My artistic profession

My career is based on a dual soul: that of a decoration professional and that of a cartoonist and illustrator. For years I consolidated my experience as a ceramic artist in Caltagirone, working for prestigious art workshops.

Currently, my business continues in the Taormina area, where I collaborate in the production of ceramic Etna lava stone tables, intended for an international market.

At the same time, I carry on my passion for drawing, creating illustrations and comics for various Italian publishing houses, combining in a coherent path the art of painting and that of graphic narration.

draftsman

As a professional draftsman, I apply my technical skill and graphic style to different media. From paper for illustrations and comics to the ceramic surface, all my work stems from a manual drawing with attention to detail.

Artistic drawing

My approach to artistic drawing is based on the enhancement of manual strokes to create unique works. Each line is designed to impart expressiveness and value, transforming an illustration or decoration into a piece with a recognizable artistic character.

Drawing on ceramics

My specialization in ceramic drawing combines the precision of an illustrator with the craftsmanship I learned in Caltagirone. I create pictorial decorations on artifacts and plates, transferring the complexity of an illustration to the ceramic surface.

Illustrations

I create artistic illustrations strictly by hand, using a combined technique of oil and acrylic colors on cardboard. This approach, with minimal digital intervention, preserves the authenticity and value of each original work and its creative process.

Poster creation

My activity as an illustrator includes the creation of posters for industry events. Among these, the illustration that has become the official poster for Day Zero of Etna Comics 2019 stands out, an important recognition in the comic book scene.
